Anti-lockdown folks in the U.S are getting hasty and abrasive

The anti-lockdown movement in the United States is growing as it is contributing to the rise of Coronavirus cases and deaths in the country. The AP reports that New York City officials are struggling to contain COVID violators who refuse to shut down their businesses. One prime example is a man who repeatedly defied orders and kept his bar open, only to then actually run over deputies with his car.

Danny Presti was arrested on Sunday after having attempted to drive away from his pub following multiple attempts by the city to force it closed in compliance with lockdown orders. Presti attempted to drive away from the venue but not before having run over deputies trying to stop him.

Mac’s Public House which is the bar in question first made news last week after refusing multiple orders to stop serving alcohol after a certain time.
