A startling twist in the case of a little boy left at a Goodwill store to fend for himself

The story of one Antoinette Smith and her little boy just keeps getting weirder. Last week — a story out of Memphis and Nashville emerged that involved Smith and an alleged man and his girlfriend that were apparently prostitution offenders.

In a Facebook Live interview, Smith maintains that she met the man in Nashville at a local Goodwill store for reasons that are unclear however was not aware that the woman involved was his girlfriend rather than his sister.

NBC News reports that a man has since been arrested in connection to the alleged kidnapping-prostitution plot that resulted in a young boy being left initially behind in Memphis only then to turn up at the store. The boy has since turned up in the care of CPS whereas it is being investigated exactly what happened. Smith maintains that had she known the woman was his girlfriend, she, never would have left her son unattended.
