A story of a sexual predator spanning Virginia to California and back to Denver County Jail is making headlines this weekend for every type of wrong reason. According to state authorities, they reportedly arrested a 40-year-old man after he used the internet to procure a 12-year-old girl; groom her for sex, and then manipulated her into flying across the country to meet him.
It only gets scarier from here.
The man identified as Nathan Daniel Larson not only is believed to be a repeated sexual predator, but, is also an allegedy white supremacist that has garnered national headlines in the U.S in the past. A feat that was apparently widely known to the police in both California and Denver.
It is unclear exactly how he ended up in Denver, but, per a release is originally from Virginia. A press release from the sheriff’s office (see here) it shows that Larson is on the hook for a misdemeanor charge for harboring a minor, and, additional charges related to kidnapping and so on of a minor in Fresno California where the young girl is from.
The story gets kind of sticky from here. Investigators believe that the two were flagged at an airport in D.C after having arrived together from California. The flight had a reported layover in Denver, where, Larson was arrested by authorities on suspicion of being the man responsible. She had originally disappeared on 12 December.
Years prior, Larson made national headlines in the U.S years prior after having threatened to kill the President back in 2008. Allegedly there was an online website ran by Larson that appeared to promote child rape and believed children were his prime targets.
