Trump has told people he has no reported plans to concede the election

In a move that was actually widely expected it looks like said move has now become reality. According to CNN, Trump has told close confidants and friends that he has no plans to concede or give in to a peaceful transfer of power.

Even as it becomes more and more apparent that he has lost to Biden and Kamala Harris — Trump has made it abundantly clear he doesn’t intend to walk away silently. CNN notes that none of his close aides — including the likes of Mark Meadows have even attempted to bring him into the course of reality.

Even though he’s swiftly in a state of denial, that hasn’t stopped the federal investigations into his administration. Since Election Day, at least two special investigations are underway into his activities as President. The likelihood of Trump making it out of this without jail or criminal charges now that he’s lost is actually quite slim.
