The Week Ahead: Election challenges; Biden ‘s plan, Trump ‘s full blown constitutional crisis, and more

WIth the week ahead — it’s slated to be quite a week in America. With Biden ‘s policies now front-and-center; Trump ‘s refusal to concede and likely coup attempt, the week is slated to be an emotional roller coaster for many. We beg you to please prepare yourself.

Trump really just doesn’t want to lose and face the wrath of the law.

  1. Election Challenges await almost universally.

The likilhood that the election results will end up before the Supreme Court are almost inevitable at this point. Although it’s worth noting that at least four attempts by the GOP to lodge state level lawsuits at this point have all been swiftly thrown out. So whether or not they actually make it to the Supreme Court remains to be seen.

Trump, however, is still refusing to concede despite being pushed to do so by top aides including Jared Kushner.

2. Trump could soon begin to see investigations arise into the many reported crimes he committed while President.

While the world learned that apparently a sitting U.S President could not be indicated —- a former sitting President can be indicted. With the results now all but certain, Trump is now close to being the subject of dozens of federal and special investigations into the reported crimes mentioned (including tax fraud; abuse of public office, and evasion) just to name a few. The chances of Trump going to prison are now very much on the table.

3. Biden ‘s policies are now taking front-and-centre stage

Joe Biden ‘s policy wonks are taking their rightful place front-and-centre amid reports that he intends to make a vast change to America in the coming weeks. According to some of those policies, student loan borrowers could see upwards of an initial $50,000 wiped from their debt balances. That alone could dramatically improve the financial landscape for many modern Americans and their families.

The same policy regarding student loans aims to offer more relief to those who take public service jobs (including teachers) — and aims to ensure that nobody who earns too much money is benefiting from the unheard of relief plans he hopes to implement.

4. Trump ‘s very likely constitutional crisis.

The words constitutional crisis have been thrown around before but America has never had one quite like what it would look like under Donald Trump. With Trump, the U.S is getting a double edged sword here as Trump is clinging to the levers of power the best he can until January. Until then, Trump has a number of options on the table that many say he is already seeking to deploy.

*Indicates already underway

Those options include: refusing to concede*; challenging the results in the Supreme Court, attempting to pardon himself, pardoning his family members (and then attempting to run in 2024), or flat out fleeing the country all together before the January inauguaration of Joe Biden.

It’s no secret that Trump does not like to lose or admit his losses.

5. Reports claim Ivanka Trump may be grooming herself for a Presidential run

In a wild world, Ivanka wants to be President. In an even wilder world, that can’t happen because she may also soon find herself under investigation this week as the feds are starting to poke around.

6. Vote certification begins this week

Whether Trump likes it or not, vote certification begins this week and will begin to tell the true magnitude of his loss. Most states will begin certifying this week, although, some will stop re-certification now that recounts have been ordered.
