In a longstanding pattern of clearcut deception, the RNC and the Trump campaign released a video skit during the convention that was at least in part fake. According to a Catalonian broadcast team, at least one of the videos and images used in the broadcast that claimed “Biden’s America” is actually in Spain.
“This is a taste of Biden’s America,” one sister says in a voiceover as images of protests play onscreen. “The rioting, the crime. Freedom is at stake now and this is going to be the most important election of our lifetime.” Buzzfeed News was among the first to report that it was easily confirmed that the images/and partial video used were actually that of a street in Barcelona rather than America.
