According to the Department of Health — this case has been found in Hillsborough County although we couldn’t get officials to confirm any further details beyond that. Officials are warning people against of going inside lakes; waters, and other bodies that may contain freshwater. Amoeba of most kinds typically enters only through the nasal passages.
