A neighbour per reports has now come forth revealing that on 11 February the two had an encounter with Arbery at the same construction site house. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, a neighbour by the name of Perez now says that the two men cornered him on that day and then it happened again.
‘Travis saw him in the yard and Travis stopped. He confronted (the man) halfway into the yard. He said (the man) reached for his waistband, and Travis got spooked and went down the road.’
