People Magazine is out as of Thursday morning with interesting claims that the couple is still living together despite their attempts to get divorced. According to the US magazine, Cavallari and Jay Cutler are still cohabitating in their Nashville compound (“except living on separate sides of the home”) according to sources who spoke to the publication.
The report comes after it emerged that Jay Cutler attempted to (in divorce filings) paint Cavallari as a distant wife and mother.
The source added: ‘His filing was basically trying to take her out of the equation so she had to respond strongly. She’s not going to be taken out of the equation when it comes to her children.’
Another source added: ‘Jay was playing for the NFL a majority of their marriage, for him to call himself the primary caregiver just because he is retired and she is working is not accurate.’ Kristin, however, maintains that Jay had been caught engaging in “martial misconduct” on a number of occasions according to her own response filing.
