Report: WHO notes that the coronavirus has NOT peaked

As news of the coronavirus and its severity continue to spread so do the misinformation campaigns are coming with it. On Thursday, the World Health Organisation confirmed that as of this writing — the virus has shown no signs of peaking in China.

While the virus hasn’t apparently peaked, WHO did acknowledge a drop in cases in the country of origin. Meanwhile, officials confirmed that upwards of 566 people have died at this point with a whopping 28k cases reported.

Conflicting and dangerously misleading reports by Chinese state run media outlets claimed that the virus would ultimately peak come the first week of February. This is not the case and in fact it is believed that the virus will continue to infect others — but it remains to be seen if contaminations will continue throughout various parts of the world.
