Protesters torch Iranian consulate: Officials

NAJAF, IRAQ — Big trouble in Iran as the government is being defeated by anti-government protesters who have had enough with corruption. According to anti-government group officials, a consulate in the holy city of Najaf was lit on fire today as the death toll in said demonstrations top 350.

So here’s what we know so far.

Locales are pretty furious with the locale government amid claims that corruption is so bad “the government has largely turned a blind eye” about and against any form of complaints. The corruption complaints began to mount about a year ago after Iranian influence in the area was all but commonplace.

Some locales are furious that they just can’t seem to get access to much needed social and basic public services. Others. want the government cleaned out and riddled of corruption. Locale police indeed confirmed that all of the staff in the consulate made it out alive.
