AG Barr told to recuse himself from Ukraine case: Report

US Attorney General William Barr has a new issue on his hands and it could very well result in his removal from office. According to NYC ‘s Bar (not to be confused with his last name), Barr has failed to appropriately exercise the obvious caution while being part of the DOJ ‘s Ukraine investigation.  Therefore  the association has recommended that Barr recuse himself otherwise he “must face Congressional sanctions and be removed from office.”

“We hope that Mr Barr will act promptly to remedy, at least in part, his prior failure to recuse himself from the Ukraine Matter,” the association said in a statement.

“If he fails either to recuse himself or to resign, Mr Barr should be subject to appropriate Congressional sanctions, including possible removal from office, in order to restore the Office of the Attorney General and the DOJ to their historic roles as a defender of the law on behalf of the American people.”
