New York — Troubling new developments are emerging out of MCC, where, disgraced billionaire Jeffrey Epstein had been housed while awaiting sex-trafficking charges. According to the New York Post, at least one of the correctional officers wasn’t actually a full-fledged federal correctional officer.
The site also reports that both officers despite their differentiating capacities were actually. on severely-shocking overtime hours. The Post claims that both officers were on their 5th straight day of overtime, something, that appears to have widely been overlooked when news first broke of Epstein’s death.
The guards allegedly falsified logs that they continued to follow protocol which required them to check on Epstein every 30 minuets. Additional reports confirm that they could potentially be charged with a federal crime.
