Nicki Minaj has plenty of time this week. The femcee is making headlines across the blog-o-sphere for her most recent episode of Queen Radio; an argument with Joe Budden, an apparent distaste for Safaree Samuels, and plenty of more stuff.
Let’s dig into it. During the most recent episode of QR, Minaj got into it with Joe Budden (yes, the douchebag himself). In the episode (which was originally supposed to be co-hosted by Meg but she had a Vogue shoot) Joe and Minaj discussed plenty of things — but both Motorsport and Hot Girl Summer quickly became hot topics.
Budden claimed that Minaj “in a carefully crafted marketing ploy” jumped on Hot Girl Summer. This is peak Minaj drama and where it appears to have mostly gone south.
In response, Minaj maintained that she jumped on the track only after an IG live session with Meg not for any other reason.
“Your entire last album did that. Your past is littered with it. Who gives a f*ck what she pop? But don’t sit here and act like you’ve never popped a pill,” – Joe Budden on Nicki Minaj and his claim that she has a past poppinng pills.
Because we’re not trying to get knee deep in this, go ahead and just listen.
