Anybody with half-a-reminder to book those last minute travel plans for summer up north, uh, might want to temporarily reschedule. According to Canadian authorities, police are investigating the reported deaths of Chynna Deese, a 24-year-old American, and her also visiting boyfriend Lucas Fowler, 23.
Over the weekend, the twosome was found gruesomely murdered on a remote stretch of highway in British Columbia. The root cause? Police have already called it a double-murder, but wouldn’t confirm or deny reports of a serial killer.
For some strangely bizarre reason, the highway in which they were found is and has long been dubbed “The Highway of Tears”. Police are saying nothing more and further details remain scant. Meanwhile, local news reports are saying that such indicates the presence of a serial killer due to the double murder.
