Guess who is on the team trying to prosecute Jeffrey Epstein?

None other than a slightly familiar face and name to some. Maurene Comey, yes Comey with a C, is one of the top assistant US attorneys in Manhattan.

In case you’re trying to figure out who that is — look no further. Comey is the daughter of former FBI director James Comey, who was ironically fired by Donald Trump who is also entangled in Epstein’s legal saga.

According to records, Maurene has worked for the SDNY since at least 2015 and has a reputation for working with some of the toughest prosecutors in the country.
