As a popular blog — we receive hundreds of story tips and the like every day. With those we often do not get all of the information required (and in this sense photographers of certain images).
With such we are announcing our new policy. In the event we have been provided an image via a tip or our social media and it goes with a publishable story (and we cannot immediately locate the photographer or image agency)… the credit line will read Image Credit Pending/Licensing Pending.
Most of the images we have used on this website over the years are royalty free and or have required no license. We do not typically run gossip columns or those that would generally require a photography license (I.e an Image of Kim Kardashian).
For images that are already on the site — shoot us an email and we will gladly add a credit or purchase a license where required by law.
