MIAMI – Miami International Airport is without one of its terminals this weekend as the airport remains scrambling to fix problems that came about due to the shutdown. According to officials, at least one major terminal will close tonight due to far too many TSA agents actually calling out of work.
As a result, travelers have been gnarled by long lines and hours-long waits getting through checkpoints. The move will apparently allow the airport to. staff those who have shown up to work, uh, at the more busier TSA checkpoints.
Bloomberg reports that the union that represents TSA agents and air traffic controllers (en masse at that) has filed suit against the FAA and Donald Trump’s Administration.
