One time or another you might have encountered a painting which did not seem like it was done by hand or through the use of ordinary paint brushes. It is a fun activity which can even be done with kids. Below are a few tips which you can use while doing so.


1.    Remember it will be messy

Acrylic pouring is a fun and interesting form of painting which leads to the creation of beautiful pieces. The end product, however, does not come easily since the whole process can tend to get quite messy. Consider, therefore, doing this outdoors, where it will be much easier to clean up and you do not have to worry about paint spills on your kitchen countertops. Dress up for the activity as well, and be sure to use gloves in order to protect your and your child’s hands. Do not get frustrated when it all gets messy since this is a common occurrence during acrylic pouring.

2.    Prepare well

This kind of painting requires prior preparation since the pouring takes a short amount of time and you thus need to be ready with all the materials that you require. Set up your canvases and have all your paints ready, as well as the vessels that you will be using while pouring.
