The scary reality of chowing down on red-meat – Topic

We all have come to love some form  of red-meat at one point in our lives. But, as time has gone on, we’ve all discovered that such a hearty meaty steak — among other things — isn’t quite the smartest of health ideas.     We spoke to several health experts from  New York University that helped us tackle some of the unfortunate consequences of chowing down on red-meat.

Health experts at NYU say that downing red-meat increases…

The presence and high possibility of Alzheimer’s disease later in life.  Whether you are 24, or 44,  chowing down on so much meat could potentially have grave consequences.   Health experts (who helped us along with their scientific nerd buddies)  say that they have always believed that when chemicals such as Tau and beta-amyloid  accumulate in that noggin —  that likely is the actual cause of the disease.

These two criminal components are found in, you guessed it, red meats.  Like many other reports out there, our health experts, also backed up previously claims that red-meat contains heavy amounts of iron. Iron build up in the brain, indeed,  has previously been found during numerous studies connected to  Alzheimer’s disease.

Your risk of colon-cancer goes so far up, you, might want to really re-think that burger you were about to eat while touring New York City.

Experts say that high consumption of red-meat can lead to the untimely and unpleasant presence of colon cancer.   A Harvard study shown to us by our pals at NYU  revealed that  consumption of such red-meats in large amounts indeed leads to colon cancer — but there’s a feat to this one that was shocking.    Consuming the opposite of red-meat (think fish; seafood, etc) causes the polar opposite effect that red-meat does.

Cows have never done anything to you, other, than provide you with milk throughout much of your life.   All the more reason to play nice.
