NICE, FRANCE — She was France’ most notorious; famous, and revered brothel owner ever. According to Le Monde, Madam Claude (Real Name: Fernande Grudet) passed away privately in Nice over the holiday weekend. Claude, was best known as the front-woman of the world’s most exclusive call girl service that allegedly served some of the most powerful people on the planet.
Claude at the height of her business apparently employed some 500 women and beyond. The women, were often referred to as “Swans”. “Swans” were forced to go through a sense of training — mate training per say — that required them to know manners; politics, arts, and various other topics men might have been interested in in the 1960’s.
