It’s one truest worst nightmare, when, one’s family disowns them for any literal reason. But, in a shocking Politico profile, Politico profiles one die-hard Trump fan that took her love a little to far.
Enter: Lynette Villano, 72, from PA. In what Politico calls a largely Democratic area, Lynette, remained and continues to remain a loyal and often delusional Trump supporter. This is where her familial nightmare began, and, it didn’t stop there. In the piece, entitled The Forgotten, the magazine dove deep into how Lynette ‘s family was torn apart by her irreversible enamor for the controversial American head of state.
Interestingly, during the election, Lynette went against the wishes of her family — and by choice of being enamored went on to run to be a Trump delegate. Her undying loyalty; love, and adoration led to an remark from Donald Trump that called her “unconditional”.
“These are the people Trump was talking about when he said he could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot someone without losing any voters,” Bradlee writes.
It was at that point, that, Lynette knowingly lost much of her family. Ties between Lynette and her daughter, ehum, have almost entirely diminished. Meanwhile, her grandson reportedly un-invited her to his college graduation over her support of the President.
It didn’t stop there. Her grandson disliked her support of the President so much, that, last year he returned all of the Christmas gifts that she had sent — they reportedly have not spoken since.
