File this one under: Toys you shouldn’t buy your children for the holidays. After careful observations by researchers and analysts, it turns out, that new “Hello Barbie” is a doll from hackers-heaven.
According to Slate, researchers discovered that there are a number of wide-varying flaws within the doll’s security measures that could potentially leave children playing with the doll vulnerable to possibly being “Watched; recorded, or downloaded” to a third party computer. Say what? You betcha.
The new “Dystopian Era” oops, er, we mean “Barbie” doll comes fully equipped with Wi-Fi capabilities allowing youngsters to have a full blown conversation with the doll itself — which isn’t creepy at all (sarcasm).
