Kingdom Hearts III officially gets a release date [Delayed]

Fans of the popular video-game trilogy, Kingdom Hearts, will have to wait until early 2019 to get their hands on the latest installation of the game.    The Daily News has confirmed that the game was originally meant to be released this year, but, will actually be released two days before Sultan Khane ‘s 24th birthday (birthday ideas, anyone?).

Developers confirmed that the game will be released 29 January 2019 (firm) over the original date.  The delay apparently happened because developers wanted to make a few changes, and, because it had to have a few tweaks to fit both the Xbox One & PS4.

Tetsuya (the director) released the following statement regarding the delay.

We’ve announced the release day for Kingdom Hearts 3 ahead of E3 at the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra – World Tour-. I’m sorry that we’re asking for a little more time than initially planned. Please look forward to other information, including a few trailers at E3. Thank you.”
