Nutcase who sold ammo to Vegas shooter charged

With a federal crime. According to new reports,   Douglas Haig has been charged with manufacturing armor-piercing bullets (which is entirely against the law..).   Haig,  knowingly produced the bullets and such  and claimed in a press conference that (“I had no idea what was going to happen..”).

In a federal court filing, prosecutors alleged that Haig made no “effort to look  into Paddock before actually selling him the heavy duty ammo”.  Meanwhile,  Haig,   claims that when he first met Paddock (“there was no sign of anything wrong”). But,  police, were first alarmed when they had not only learned that equipment in Haig’s backyard matches fingerprints on the ammo found from that now infamous Vegas hotel,  but also, that Haig had an interesting first encounter with the shooter.

Prosecutors found out that Haig had to “wait for Paddock to put gloves on from his car” before he would take the   ammunition from him. For whatever reason, that, didn’t strike Haig as odd and he proceeded with the sale.  Haig, ehum, maintains that he has done nothing wrong.
