Iconic mystery about Egypt’s King Tut may finally be solved

That mystery, perhaps, being the story surrounding  his  relative Queen Nefertiti. According to National Geographic, Egyptian researchers are hot on the idea that Nefertiti is also entombed in the same tomb in which Tut is — although she may be hidden in a secret chamber.

Nat Geo notes that researchers have been looking into the theory since at least 2015.   It has always largely been believed in Egypt that Nefertiti is indeed buried somewhere near King Tut, although,  the Egyptian rulers were no strangers to  staunch secrecy.  So, how’d they figure it out? Nat Geo notes that one of the walls in the tomb (apparently the Northern most wall) was found to be a different color than the other walls upon entry.
