As of 30 August, court documents related to this case were ordered sealed by the U.S Marshal Service. We are not obligated to confirm how we obtained this information, and, will maintain our right to shield where we got them from. We will continue to come after Shanobia Robinson for her false claims as this is not the first time she has done such a thing.
We are prepared to square off with the District Attorney’s office over the release of this information.
After careful consideration, The Daily News, has decided to publicly name the woman who falsely accused Mystikal and his tour mate of rape. We stand by our original story and will not back down from what we originally wrote in our exclusive headline.
On Friday evening, The Daily News, managed to get its hands on even more information regarding the troubled woman who accused Mystikal of a bizarre case of rape (but has yet to prove it). The woman, identified as Shanobia Elaine Dilligard (now believed to be Robinson, possibly still Dilligard) has a long and extensive criminal rap sheet and history of falsely claiming rape.
First, let’s discuss the year 2008. Then Shanobia Robinson, Robinson, was jailed for allegedly purposely burning her infant children with hot water. Both children suffered severe first and second degree burns. The children were later placed in foster care in Abilene Texas, after CPS, determined that Shanobia was an unfit mother. There was also reportedly a 19 month old additional child involved.
We did confirm with CPS in that particular area that Shanobia never did get her children back.
At the time, she was held on a $7,500 surety bond. This was never brought up or mentioned when Shanobia claimed rape against Mystikal. In 2008, Shanobia was secretly forced to undergo mental health therapy where it was reportedly determined that she suffered from a host of illnesses — including — one particular illness that results in fantasizing about particular events that never happened.
Developing story: Shanobia Elaine Robinson (nee: Dilligard) is also reportedly the same woman in Louisiana who notoriously accused (which was later proved to be false) Hurricane Chris’s one time inspiration (of his hit song Ay Bay Bay) of rape in almost the same exact fashion in which she has done to Mystikal. The false accusations were made in 2007, it was not until 2009, that it was proven that Hurricane Chris’s Ay Bay Bay inspiration was actually not the rapist at hand (because it never actually occurred).
UPDATE: Twitter messages delivered to The Daily News during the early morning hours of September 2nd place DJ Bay Bay working in the Dallas area. We are placing phone calls to confirm his whereabouts.
The Daily News has been made aware of audio tapes secretly recorded by the woman charged as an accessory to the phony rape. In the tapes, we’ve learned that the woman confronts Shanobia over the false allegations whereas Shanobia further (“admits that it never happened”). Interestingly, the tapes revealed an eager Shanobia who called from Texas almost daily at least a week before the concert (“to assure that she would be introduced to Mystikal and his tour partner”).
We have made contact with Hurricane Chris. And are making the necessary requests to track down DJ Bay Bay almost ten years after the phony rape took place.
Which coincides with what we originally reported, that, Shanobia was nothing more than a “rap groupie” looking to get close to a celebrity. The similarities between DJ Bay Bay’s phony rape allegation and the allegations made against Mystikal and his squad are almost so eerily similar, one, may seemingly feel like it’s 2007 again.
Public records show that Shanobia has quite the extensive rap sheet, and, has racked up quite a bit of legal fees related to her troublesome past. It might be interesting to point out that it appears that we have been given text messages from the night following the phony attack, which see Shanobia allegedly tell a friend “I made it look like he did it”.
Sources close to Mystikal say that Mystikal is unaware of what’s happening on the outside world as the District Attorney himself appears to be “trying to make a name for himself using this particular case”. Alike the first case involving Shanobia, the DNA in this case, is almost shockingly shaky.
