Ted Cruz is leading Donald Trump in a new poll: Des Moines Register

You can stop rubbing your eyes, because, that’s a real headline at least according to the Des Moines Register. According to the Iowa paper,  Cruz is now enjoying a “21 point jump” in the polls which puts him above Trump, and at a cool 31% support according to the Des Moines Register /Bloomberg Politics poll.

Part of Cruz’s new success can be paid to Ben Carson’s downfall, who, obliterated himself with misconceptions and deceptions about his past and that military academy brouhaha. Trump, however, probably isn’t going to be all that happy after discovering he’s only at 21% in the polls.

The paper goes on to claim that “Cruz is the No. 2 choice” for caucusgoers.
