Disgraced film producer and actor a Roman Polanski who has been on the lamb for decades is back in the headlines again. The rapist-on-the-run who fled a pending rape conviction in 1977, has reportedly been nominated for 12 Cèsars for his Officer And A Spy film. Most are rightfully outraged at the idea that once again a man continues to be praised despite his stunning and criminally disgusting behaviour. The Cèsar’s declined to comment for this story.

Military bases across America on alert amid fears of more attacks following Pensacola Naval terror attack

The FBI is conducting a nationwide manhunt this weekend following reports of numerous Saudi Arabian students linked to the Pensacola Naval shooter abruptly having gone missing. Reports say that each of the students had a personal connection to the shooter, and, it is believed that they could potentially conduct a second attack. Military bases across the U.S are on high alert and have upped their usual security precautions amid the concerns. While the feds wouldn't confirm the exact number of students still unaccounted for, federal authorities did confirm that the search is on. Hague stabbing not actually terrorism: Police

HAGUE, NETHERLANDS ---  Days after a report of a reported stabbing in the Hague police are now confirming that the attack was not actually terrorism-related. Police confirmed on Sunday evening that the situation was not related to the terror incident that struck a few hundreds miles away in London. Dutch police confirmed that the suspect in the Hague stabbings is actually a 35-year-old homeless man in the area.  Per police he was apprehended hours after the attack at a locale shelter.

Death toll from Texas shooting rises to 7

This article is an editors correction notice.  Earlier this weekend, an article published by this newspaper noted that the death toll in the Odessa-Midlands Texas shooting was 5, it is now 7.  On Sunday, authorities confirmed that two more people have died following injuries from the attacks. From what we understand, the 2 year old child is also still in critical condition.

On Sunday, U.S President Donald Trump became the first sitting President to enter the DMZ of North Korea. According to reports, Trump followed through with his offer to meet Kim in the troubled area-- something that has never been done by an American leader. Per reports, the two discussed multiple things over the course of several hours. Now -- it appears that talks to fully dismantle Kim's nuclear program are back and well underway. Report: FOOD is finally headed into Venezuela

CARACAS --   Interesting news in Venezuela, mostly, coming out of the border. between Brazil and the country. According to reports,  Nicholas Maduro has "allowed" aid and food to enter the country after weeks of standoff with international allies and countries attempting to feed the severely hungry. The AP (nor this paper itself) could independently verify that aid had actually left Brazil or nearby Bogota and entered Venezuela. Maduro still claims, per reports, that there is no existing humanitarian crisis in the country -- and ordered all borders closed weeks ago.

  RIYADH -- In what is actually literally the first ever of its sorts, it, appears that concert dates for Mariah Carey in Saudi Arabia are a thing. The Daily News has confirmed that Mariah Carey will be joining Sean Paul and Tiesto at an Arabian gulf tourney in King Abdullah's Economic City. The announcement and confirmation came after Carey cancelled her Australian and New Zealand dates in exchange for the Arabian dates.  It is in fact the first time Mariah Carey has ever been in Saudi Arabia.

China's mobile phone technology maker Huawei is in the news today, as uh, Mrs Meng was arrested by Canadian authorities at the request of the U.S. According to Canadian authorities in Vancouver, the Department of Justice, quietly issued a warrant for Meng's arrest if and when she entered territory where they lawfully request extradition (or even flat out arrest her themselves). According to court documents, the U.S, alleges that Huawei knowingly violated U.S sanctions against Iran -- by knowingly shipping their products and technology pieces to the country over the past several years. North Korea has that Hydro Bomb

That we previously reported last month. Last month, Daily News reported that North Korea had allegedly got its hands on a hydro bomb that they claim they've created.  Nearly a month later, er, North Korean officials have purportedly confirmed the existence of such a  bomb -- sparking -- the beginning of what is setting up to be a very interesting 2016. Officials in the hermit kingdom claim that the hydro bomb caused a 5.1 earthquake during its test.  Although, er, experts aren't all that convinced just yet. Some say that such a small earthquake would have been caused by a much lesser explosion, with a hydro, having caused much worse damage.
