Interesting news for Salvadorans. According to the White House, their Temporary Protection Status that they've had since 2001 -- ehum -- has been legally revoked. The Trump Administration announced today that the protections granted after severe earthquakes in 2001 in the region, are, effectively being removed.
The Department of Homeland Security apparently feels that conditions in the country have improved "so much so that the designation following the 2001 earthquakes can now be removed".
