Emails show Trump ordered Ukrainian aid freeze from the top

Big trouble in Washington today as the WH is scrambling to respond to a report that shows that Trump ordered the freeze of aid to Ukraine from the top. According to a security website who got their hands on 300+ emails, Trump reportedly ordered the move from top down despite several previous denials otherwise. (AP Photo/ Evan Vucci) The website, Just Security, shows that the emails also revealed that several admin officials expressed concern including top officials in the Department of Defense. A previously unseen email confirmed that defense officials had attempted to stop Trump ‘s orders to freeze the aid, amid fears that such would’ve been illegal.
