Shakespeare In The Park presents Coriolanus

New York’s free theater summer series continues at The Delacorte Theater, home of the legendary Shakespeare in the Park. Currently on stage is Corriolanus a Roman war tragedy about a general voted into power by a populace hungry for change, and the unraveling that follows. Running now till August 11th, 2019 Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan (Proof) directs while an ensemble of 38 actors bring this play to life. Among them is Nneka Okafor (Too Heavy For Your Pocket, 2017); Louis Cancelmi (Boardwalk Empire, 2010); Kate Burton (Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy); Jonathan Cake (Desperate Housewives, Noah’s Ark 1999); and I’d like to bring the spotlight on Darryl Gene Daughtry, Jr. - recent Juilliard graduate, Group 48, who is also my mentor and friend and one to watch.
