This NFL’er was so ready for a second chance, his plan, worked

TEXAS - If there's a will, there's a way, at least for one former baller who was "Starving For Success". Some six weeks ago, Joe Anderson,  took it upon himself to create a sign that said "Starving for Success" "Will run Routes for Food" and stood outside a stadium where the NFL was practicing.Among the other readings of the sign: "Will Run Routes 4 food," it continued, along with the hashtags #Whateverittakes, #UnderDog, #IBelieve, and #Hungry.  His message and sign went viral after he posted it on Instagram, and Tuesday, Anderson was signed to the New York Jets practice team.

NFL prospect was asked if he was gay during NFL draft

And people are losing their minds.  In what is certainly an illegal question, the NFL is facing controversy today after two teams apparently asked an NFL draft if indeed liked men. Derrius Guice, ehum,  hed an interview last night revealing that during the combine two  teams asked if he liked men, while, another  made jokes about his Mom and  the scary claim that she sold herself for money. The NFL and its commissioner have now lodged an investigation against the teams who allegedly asked Guice if he was homosexual.   It is against the law in the United States for any employer  to ask such a question, whether a private company or not.

The NFL is turning its back on Donald Trump #TakeaKnee

And for good reason. Despite the fact several team owners reportedly donated to Trump over the past year, they, are readying to turn against the one they support most.  As football got underway in London today between the Baltimore Ravens and the Jaguars, players across both teams,  took a knee in protest against police brutality and social injustices. The Pittsburgh Steelers just confirmed to CBS that they will sit out the National Anthem in Chicago entirely as a team. Nobody will participate. A movement that has struck a chord with white nationalists; Trump supporters, and pretty much anyone who isn't deeply embedded in Papa Bear Trump 's religious base.  Robert Kraft,  the owner of the Patriots,  released a statement today harshly condemning his "long time friend" and his unusuall...

Wealthy or poor, to #TakeaKnee, means to protest injustice

You've probably heard by now that the President of the United States is literally engaging in full-scale war with the NFL.   So much so, that, the Golden State Warriors have announced that they're "pretty okay" with not actually going to The White House.   The apparent feud started after Stephen Curry chimed in on the #TakeaKnee movement.  A movement that Donald Trump is vehemently opposed to, but, can actually do nothing about it. The comment that started it all, at least,  when Trump chimed in himself.  Players across the sports spectrum including those in MLB; the NFL, and more are protesting than ever before. “Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field right now. Out! He’s fired. He’s fi...
