De Blasio is pleading with the Trump Administration to solve NYC ‘s soaring homelessness crisis

I can vouge for the fact that New York has one of the worst homelessness problems I've ever seen (and I've been to most parts of America minus a few cities here and there.)  But "Mayoral Failure" De Blasio hasn't done much to address those issues and I've lived here since at least the age of 19. According to the New York Post, De Blasio has now made an effort to appeal and desperately at that to the Trump Administration for federal help in getting people off of the streets.   From inside New York, let me tell you, there are so many people in shelters and even more on the streets there aren't many corners you can turn in this city without being greeted by one. “The problem ultimately is Donald Trump has not shown any willingness to give us the tools we need, most especially Section 8 vouc...

Missing teen Karol Sanchez found alive: NYPD

This is an emergency broadcast bulletin as ordered by our Editorial Board. A Bronx teenager identified as 16-year old Karol Sanchez is missing. According to police, Sanchez was on a stroll with her Mom when four men abruptly hopped out of a beige sedan and abducted her. UPDATE: As of 3:03 pm local time, Sanchez has been found alive according to authorities. EDITORS NOTE: Reports are indicating that this kidnapping may have been a sham/staged at the hands of Karol herself. Although unconfirmed as of this writing -- it sounds like Karol staged this kidnapping to avoid an alleged family move back to Honduras. Police are investigating the claims. A video indeed surfaced online of the abduction. This is hard to watch. Please watch this video and if you know anything phone the...

Massive power outage plunges Manhattan into total darkness

While power appears to have been partially restored in some areas it hasn't hit others yet. But for those that aren't aware -- New York City has gone dark. Much of the lower half and the West Side of New York are currently without power. Until further notice we are forced to publish from our phones. We have no power in the building downtown used for our web services. Photos via social media users within the city.

Contrary to belief, we are not penning an Ali Forney Center hit piece

Contrary to popular belief, we,  have no intention of penning an apparent  expose or "hit piece" on the Ali Forney Center in New York City.     That is an organisation that we hold near-and-dear to our hearts, and,  have no intention of writing about in this newspaper.  In fact, we have only ever written positive feedback about the organisation that has helped so many people. At this time, nor in the future, do we intend on writing about the Ali Forney Center or its affiliates in any manner besides positive coverage that includes the services they provide to young people.

We’re endorsing @CynthiaNixon for Governor of New York

Some have called us  "the elite" among young New Yorkers who hold vast influence over our own peers and how young people think. That aside, we,   have done our part to help others.     Alike Cynthia Nixon, we, are viciously against a third term by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who, has knowingly done the opposite in which should have been done: fight for everybody. As youngsters, we, have on numerous occasions stepped into the city to see the very same issues in which Nixon is campaigning for.  At the forefront,  the MTA issues in which plague each and every one of us.    While  MTA officials line their pockets with rail-fare, we, are often subjected to delays;   train work,  and more annoying than anything else.. homeless people sleeping on the train. The astonishing number of homeless veteran...

He has been  Governor for at least two terms. Nixon in the video, ehum, tackles one of the most important issues in New York City: Poverty. New York City is  "the most unequal state in the entire country, with both incredible wealth and extreme poverty. ... How did we let this happen?" Meanwhile,  sexist Twitter and social media has already picked up steam against  Nixon.  Due to our policies, we,  will not print  the messages that are sexist against Nixon.

Source: Trump Administration told ICahn of Tariffs before they happened

WASHINGTON --     Insider secrets are a thing, especially in investments, and  they are exactly the kind of secrets that were reportedly exchanged between the Trump Administration and billionaire investor  Carl ICahn.   ICahn, just days before the tariffs were announced, dumped millions of his stock in a company that primarily depends on steel. Sources exclusively reveal to The Daily News that ICahn "Knew of the upcoming tariffs because he  was already given knowledge of them from inside of the White House.    He knew the exact time; day, and how they would be implemented.    This is why he quietly began to sell his stocks via  Manitowoc Company before he would have lost about $6million". Which came out to be exactly correct as Trump made the actual announcement.  After Trump made th...

New York City thwarts twin-duo who sought to unleash bombs in the Bronx

Apparently there was nearly a terrorist attack in New York City this week, and, nobody knew about it. According to Bronx authorities and federal authorities, New York State is feeling pretty good about itself this week -- after it thwarted what could have been a seriously lethal terrorist attack by two twin brothers who "sought to make sure the little people knew terror". The New York Times reports that the FBI and New York City authorities arrested Christian and Tyler Toro both 27 in relation to an investigation that had actually started in December.  According to indictments,  one of them had apparently mentioned making a bomb in their classroom and such resulted in a 15-year-old student phoning in a potential bomb threat. Not even two weeks later,  Christian Toro, resigned from hi...
