Operation Push begins today throughout the state in hopes that the Governor will finally give prisoners human-ready conditions and a fair wage for the work that they do. The Guardian is out with an interesting story on Martin Luther King Jr's birthday.  Per the newspaper,  Florida officials are in hot water this week after prisoners from at least 8 prisons are planning to protests the "horrifying conditions" that they're subjected to, and, often in an unfair manner.
