65 years after the death of Emmett Till, it is now federally illegal to lynch somebody in America

According to reports, the government passed the unanimous bill on Wednesday with all but FOUR votes otherwise. For those that maybe a little young for remembering such an event -- let us bring you back. Emmett Till lynched and tortured when he was 14 for allegedly whistling at a white woman in a Mississippi grocery store.
