And for good reason. According to Patreon, they've found themselves in the midst of press they probably don't want. For those that have been living under a rock, a page appeared online last week claiming to be that of Jocelyn Savage -- the woman R. Kelly lived with for years leading up to his stint in federal prison.
The site notes that they apparently made numerous attempts to verify the identity of the account holder, although all of them were unsuccessful. Patreon then confirmed in a now released statement all of the above and that everybody who subscribed indeed did get a refund. The world will never actually know if that was Savage behind those now sordid stories.
