Elizabeth Holmes fraud trial is about to get really messy

Messy because despite the attempts of her legal team to throw out testimonies of the patients she scammed — those patients just scored a big court win. This week a federal judge ruled that the patients involved do have the rught to testify considering they were targeted by Holmes misdeeds. According to court documents, Holmes trial is set to begin with jury trial selections on 31 August. A judge ultimately found that it would have deprived the victims of their right to tell their story. Holmes’ lawyers further argued that the testimonies should be withheld because the rest of the blame sits with the government. Her legal team maintains that the blame sits with the government because they allegedly didn’t keep a laboratory base properly.

Scammer Elizabeth Holmes sees charges reduced, at least one stands

College dropout Elizabeth Holmes is probably one of the most hated women in America as we speak. But the judge presiding over her case has apparently reduced some of those charges, leaving potential room for Holmes to possibly regain much of her lost reputation. According to what we’ve learned, the judge ruled in the case that technically people weren’t financially duped out of money by Holmes because their insurance providers paid for testing and such — not patients directly. The judge, District Judge Edward Davila, said Tuesday that most of the 11 charges against her would reportedly be dropped. According to the WSJ, the wire fraud charge would remain in tact. She is expected to see her trial begin in July.

Glamorous fraudster Elizabeth Holmes accused of defrauding her own lawyers: Report

Elizabeth Holmes apparently will never learn her lesson. The glamorous fraudster who swindled doctors; physicians, and even patients out of millions is preparing to stand trial for such next year. But in the interim, she's back in the courtroom over claims that she hasn't paid her lawyers in over a year. According to court documents obtained by The Daily News, lawyers allege that Holmes "doesn't even have plans to actually pay people." Docs show that Holmes has not paid her Palo Alto-based lawyers since at least last October. This might seem strange considering John Dwyer and his colleagues are also defending Holmes in a civil suit brought on by the same patients she scammed using Theranos.' The docs were filed Monday in Phoenix by way of federal court. They noted very clearly that Holme...

Therano ‘s fires back in open letter following latest WSJ offering

The accusations came from unconfirmed and shaky sources via The Wall Street Journal, some of which, published an even more damning set of accusations on 21 December. Since, Therano 's has come out in defense of itself citing that they're "fully cooperating" with regulators and are "sure that nothing of the kind will be found".  Therano 's claimed in an open-letter ironically published in the Wall Street Journal that it was "not unusual for disgruntled employees to provide accusations after termination of employment to humiliate their employer". The real truth about Elizabeth Holmes and her Theranos’ fortune

LOS ANGELES --  Yesterday, saw one particular article see publication that quickly drew criticism. Forbes, published an article on none other than Therano 's CEO Elizabeth Holmes (whom is under federal investigation by nearly half-a-dozen U.S agencies).  In the article,  Forbes, claims that Holmes' is now worth essentially nothing. Yes, nothing. In their argument, Forbes, argues that the "realistic" value of Theranos is actually around $800m rather than $9 billion.  "Holmes' 50% stake at a valuation of $800m leaves her worth practically nothing".  Except, there's a small issue with Forbes' assessment on Holmes wealth even at such a valuation. $400,000,000 is allot of freaking money. The Forbes article mysteriously reads more like a smear campaign (and, a poorly written one at t...
