Hillary Clinton becomes first woman to clinch a U.S Presidential Nomination
WASHINGTON -- It's a big week in Washington D.C. Hillary Clinton is now the first woman in American history to clinch a major party's presidential nominations. Last night, Clinton, made it her majority to mark the nomination formally with the required number of delegates.
Clinton is now the first woman ever poised to become the leader of the free world, something, that has been hailed as a milestone for women everywhere ("despite Clinton's many pitfalls").
Per The Guardian, Clinton has now shifted her focus to November's General Election in the United States. "Two shifting focuses" are headed to battle it out for the White House leading up to November, two focuses, that have starkly different visions for the future.
