According to reports in Canada, a Canadian woman thought by winning her divorce battle and the home she shared with her husband — that she could arrange the sale of said home and eventually move on. Thus, instead of an easy transition after a court-ruling in her favour she’s now the victim of an even wider disaster than before. According to police in Calgary-Alberta, Natasha Bourdon ‘s husband whom is incarcerated (Trevor Deitz) ordered a hit on the home after a judge’s ruling in Bourdon ‘s favour. RiRi helps fund $4.2m grant to aid DV victims in LA amid the Coronavirus

It's no secret that some of us are blessed to be able to stay in our homes; whether with safe roommates or alone. Others, however, aren't so fortunate and often are forced especially now to be with people whom are otherwise unsettling. James Veysey/WWD/Shutterstock Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey joined RiRi in donating to the fund as both donated upwards of $2.1m each. The fund will help the Mayor 's office tackle the rise in DV amid the Coronavirus (and those cases that existed before.) It was recently discovered that calls to domestic violence hotlines amid the novel COVID-19 virus actually soared. The fund will help with shelter; meals, counselling and the like for up to 90 DV victims a week for 10 weeks.

In an obvious reference to the #MeToo movement,  Donald Trump has come out swinging against those  who make "accusations that ruin people's lives.   Their lives are over, there's no career left".     Those references, ehum, were in part to Rob Porter and his colleague who were booted from the White House --after images surfaced of their battered wives. "Peoples lives are being shattered and destroyed by a mere allegation," Trump wrote, per the AP. "Some are true and some are false. Some are old and some are new. There is no recovery for someone falsely accused - life and career are gone. Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?"
