Marjorie Taylor Greene is now attacking her own colleagues as the battle to remove her takes flight

For more reasons than one Marjorie Taylor Green is making headlines around the world as the QAnon movement takes D.C by full storm. The battle over Greene 's presence in Congress comes as she has made a host of comments; remarks, and otherwise outlandish arguments that run just south of a fiction story. "A maskless Marjorie Taylor Greene & her staff berated me in a hallway," Rep. Cori Bush, also a freshman congresswoman, posted Friday on Twitter. "She targeted me & others on social media. I'm moving my office away from hers for my team's safety." The reported encounter led to Nancy Pelosi removing Bush 's office from being near that of Greene's and reassigned her. The GOP is still blocking $2k stimulus checks as the clock runs out and Congress has now expired

Congress is pretty much adjourned until the next Congress begins in the United States. That in itself means that the clock has run out for hope that the GOP led Senate would approve any type of $2k towards stimulus checks. As Friday came to an end, it became abundantly clear that Mitch McConnell has no interest in further helping the American people sending yet another wrench into the lives of struggling citizens. Surprisingly, even the likes of Lindsey Graham (who has long been a staunch advocate for anything but help or morality for the Americans) now supports such check increases to Americans. In a tweet Graham notably sided with Democrats and a growing list of Republican Senators who do not agree with Mitch. https://twitter.com/LindseyGrahamSC/status/1345106869107499010?ref_...

U.S to ban the sale of tobacco products to anyone under the age of 21: Reports

Congress is reportedly on the verge of changing a huge part of how stores in America function. According to reports, a sweeping healthcare reform package was inserted into the spending bill that passed over the weekend. That bill and the legislation in it would see the sale of tobacco barred to anyone under the age of 21. Congress will likely pass legislation banning the sale of tobacco products to people under 21 as part of a year-end spending deal. | Justin Sullivan/Getty Images The legislation likely comes as the government and big tobacco aim to paint E-Ciggs as the new devil in America.

Michael Cohen now says he won’t testify before Congress

` Because as Buzzfeed puts it, uh, apparently the threats from Trump and his legal team have just gotten to be a little much.  Buzzfeed News reports that Cohen was originally slated to testify before Congress on 7 February, but now, has removed himself from that particular equation. Multiple outlets have also floated the notion that Cohen may not have much of a choice, considering, he's under investigation and by federal law he may be mandated to testify.  The newly minted House Intelligence Committee, indeed, may very well force him to do so. The following statement was released by Cohen 's legal counsel. Due to ongoing threats against his family from President Trump and Mr. Giuliani, as recently as this weekend, as well as Mr. Cohen's continued cooperation with ongoing investigations...
