Fox News made me do it

A stunning defense in the quest to charge those responsible for the terrorist attack on the U.S Capitol has made its rounds online. Accrding to the Guardian, Anthony Antonio is making headlines over claims that amid 5 charges for his role "Fox made him do it." The defense is considered a unique one because it claims that Fox News is the problem behind what is being fed to right-wing Americans. Critics have long argued just that, though, the admission from a Trump supporter is likely to have strong implications for Fox itself. Lawyers for Antonio claim that before the riots he was unemployed nearly a year and constantly had Fox News playing at home. The same lawyers likened a "constant diet of misinformation" to that of mental illness.

After Capitol police crises, scores of officers facing mass arrests for betraying their literal oath

The quest to identify and prosecute the Capitol officers pictured in multiple videos during the siege appears to be taking flight. According to reports, FBI officials have taken at least 15 Capitol officers into custody for questioning with at least one facing arrest and major charges. It is widely believed that part of the reason why the Capitol Complex terrorist attack was able to actually happen is because Capitol officers didn’t care. One of the most notable moments of such happened to be captured by journalist Timothy Burke — which quickly went viral online and further illustrated the idea that police officers are turning their backs on Americans. House lawmakers are helping FBI officials lead the charge to arrest and charge members of the mob that invaded the Capitol. Mos...

As outrage over the right ‘s treasonous riots in the Capitol grows, the right seeks to blame “Antifa”

The far-right knows no bounds in its efforts to remain lawless in America a land in which they claim is the land of Law & Order. Amid emerging reports that the crowds who broke into the Capitol were largely Trump supporters; white, violent, and anything but Antifa -- they're looking for someone to blame. Allegations of Antifa involvement first appeared on sites like Gab.com and Parler but were amplified even on the Senate floor thanks to people like Matt Gaetz. Gaetz is a known Trump supporter both in and out of Congress and is a frequent source of misinformation often on very large scales. First and foremost, it's worth mentioning that the nod came from an article in the Washington Times. A source that is often discredited and tends to be very far-right leaning. Gaetz cla...
