Brooklyn Nine-Nine to end with 8th season, but don’t expect it for at least a few months

Popular U.S show Brooklyn Nine-Nine is reportedly ending with its 8th and final season. According to Entertainment Weekly, the show has confirmed that the 8th season will be its last but it will not premiere until the 2021-2022 season. CREDIT: JORDIN ALTHAUS/NBC Production on the final season is expected to resume in the coming weeks as it had been hampered by the Coronavirus pandemic. EW also reports that in the final season the procedural drama indeed plans to address police brutality during its final sendoff. Police brutality got brought to form in 2020 after the police-sanctioned murder of George Floyd. Floyd's murder was only the tipping point in the problem itself.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine saved by NBC after outrage

Brooklyn  Nine-Nine is  back, thanks in part, to the NBC Network. According to actor Terry Crews,  the original Fox show has now moved to NBC after execs decided to pick up the show. The sudden flip of broadcast networks  came after  actors of the show itself, and, its fans  decided to voice their support. Brooklyn Nine-Nine will reportedly return this fall.  In fact, NBC executives confirmed that the show is actually    produced by an NBC-owned  affiliate group (which means it involved them to begin with).
