Suspect wanted in 2 grisly murders in OHIO captured in ATLANTA

ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- In what was wild manhunt for a murderer.. said manhunt has now come to an even wilder end. According to police in Stockbridge, GA -- Christopher Smith was arrested this week after a manhunt ensued from his native Ohio. Smith was originally wanted in Ohio in connection to the murders of two men outside of a grocery market and a jazz club. According to an arrest warrant obtained by the Daily News, Smith is/was wanted for the shooting/deaths of Clarence Brown and Brandon Harris.

ATHENS, GEORGIA -- In the death of our dear friend Ava Barrin, a Georgia man has been charged and jailed over her murder.    Jalen Breon Brown, 21,  shot and killed Barrin yesterday in the parking lot of an Athens apartment complex after a domestic dispute. According to police reports now obtained by The Daily News,  Brown and Barrin were involved in a dispute in the parking lot that Brown maintains he "was defending himself" in.  During the dispute,  Barrin, per the report,  was shot in the left side of his chest -- and later died at a local hospital hours later.   Brown, was almost immediately charged with her murder and aggravated assault after investigators and police spoke to witnesses on site. Atlanta attorney facing manslaughter charges has holes in his case

So many holes, one's mind, might just slightly be boggled at the idea that this wasn't an accident.  Enter: Claud McIver. McIver, is currently on trial for the murder of his wife dating back to September.  McIver, is reportedly facing manslaughter charges on top of a hefty time in prison. Here's where it gets interesting. According to court documents and reports from People Magazine, McIver was "asleep in the backseat of his car when he jolted awake and the hand gun he conveniently happened to be holding went off". Went off, and er,  ended up shooting his wife. New documents emerged over the week in the case indicating that there may have been a little bit of motive not previously clear in the murder.
