Rudy Guede, the man they claim killed Meredith Kercher, has been freed from an Italian prison

The man the Italian justice system slapped with a murder charge after botching the conviction of Amanda Knox has been freed from prison. Guede famously became the only known person to have been convicted in the grisly 2007 slaying of Meredith Kercher. Kercher, 21, was a British exchange student studying abroad in Perugia Italy. Gregorio Borgia/AP, FILE Guede is pictured in 2017. At the time, Guede was not convicted until at least a year or more later alongside Knox and a man known as Rafaelle Sollecito. Prosecutors originally claimed that the trio had killed Kercher together, although, after a series of wrong moves by the Italian justice system the convictions of the latter two were thrown out. Guede has technically been partially free since 2017. In 2017, he was granted th...

Amanda Knox is still making the death of Meredith Kercher about her even years later

It's no secret that much of the modern world remains divided on the death of Meredith Kercher and whom in fact was responsible. Among those consistently thrown around: Amanda Knox. Knox, 31, is back in Italy for a convention with Italian lawyers whereas she has already provided her speech to the public. At the initial time of her trial, Knox's conviction and the trial that followed would become one of the most sensational of the century. But now Knox is speaking out about her time on trial for a murder that she was eventually acquitted of (despite much public belief that she is/was actually responsible). The festival titled "Trial By Media" is a festival focusing on the apparent behaviors of the media in "publicly convicting" others before an actual conviction.

Amanda Knox confirms she will return to Italy

Years after she got away with killing her roommate, Amanda Knox, is set to return to the same place that almost put her away for life. According to reports, Know apparently feels the selfish-need to return to Italy so "that she can heal" but probably isn't thinking that nobody actually wants her there. "I have an amazing family and friends and an incredible support network," she said, per the Sun. "But you have got to face up to your fears alone if you want to heal and I know the main thing that still terrifies me most is returning to Italy."

Amanda Knox is still trying to talk about Meredith Kercher

It was one of the most heinous crimes of the decade, and, she got away with it.  But in a new piece for Westside Seattle,  convicted and then overturned killer Amanda Knox is back to using Kercher’s name for personal comfort. In the piece, Knox claims she was never afforded an opportunity to “mourn” the woman she says was a “great friend in which I have several fond memories of”.  The same piece, also, contains the following line: “Sometimes innocent people suffer”. But then, the piece apparently mourning her “dear friend” turns into a spectacle not surprisingly about Amanda. The are buried beneath the horrific autopsy photos and crime scene footage I saw, the slurs I was called, the death threats I received (and still receive), the false accusations I fought, the years ...

Amanda Knox is back in the headlines

But this time with an editorial piece for the Los Angeles Times aimed at President Trump. In the piece, Knox, quips that while she owes Trump a "Thanks" for his if anything "un-diplomatic" support during her crusade to be freed from prison in Italy, but, nothing more than just that. "By holding personal loyalty above all else, Trump and some of his supporters create a political environment where reason and justice hold little sway," she writes. Knox points out that while Trump supported her case abroad, he did the opposite closer to home in the case of the Central Park Five. He called for the death penalty despite flimsy evidence, and still views those men as guilty even though they were exonerated years after the fact. For reasons like that, she can't support Trump politically." Tru...

Amanda Knox just penned the most ridiculous essay ever

Amanda Knox just can't quit, mostly, because she's back in a new essay claiming women are coerced into confessions in murder trials -- because they're conditioned to please men. Yes, you read that right.  In an essay for Broadly, the convicted and then released killer claims that "There are so many cases out there where women are wrongfully coerced into a confession". "The confession comes from the fact that we, women, are conditioned to please men".

Amanda Knox: The problems never stop

Nine years later, Amanda Knox is still on a quest to prove to the world that she isn't guilty of the heinous murder of Meredith Kercher. In a new piece for USA TODAY, Knox, tells a gripping tale of how her life even exonerated from the murder is the same as if she were still guilty of the murder in the eyes of Italy's court. Every day for the past nine years I've been called a slut and murderer by total strangers. In prison, it was hate mail. Outside of prison, it’s social media and hate mail. “Teach me how to get away with murder.” “I hope you will be alone forever.” “Murderess.” “Psychopath.” “Whore.” One person promised, in a comment on my personal website, to kidnap me in broad daylight, rip out my teeth and fingernails, electrocute me, and carve Meredith Kercher’s name into my body. ...
