The Republican National Convention and Donald Trump feel that if North Carolina doesn’t comply with their demands to absolutely lift lockdown orders they will move their coveted convention. According to officials for both parties, both feel in typical Republican fashion that “Democrats are trying to minimise Trump ‘s so-called right to host rallies.”
Trump apparently wants to know if Democratic Gov Roy Cooper is going to allow his rallies to be held at a particular arena and in full capacity. Given the state of lockdown orders, it doesn’t appear that such would be lawful under the circumstances.
Both the Democratic and the Republican conventions are vastly approaching however due to lockdowns their futures remain uncertain.
