Report: Amid growing number of Coronavirus deaths, FEMA has requested 100k body bags for the U.S

As if the Coronavirus situation couldn’t get or be anymore eery than it already is, a new report suggests FEMA is making moves to bag up more than 100k bodies in the worst possible outcome of it all. According to reports, the Pentagon has been asked to provide FEMA with more than 100k “Human Remains Pouches” (aka body bags) in the event that the lowest possible # of deaths are accounted for when the virus is said and done.

Bloomberg reports that the request has certainly raised a few eyebrows as many have already accused the government of mishandling the Coronavirus outbreak to begin with. 100k deaths in the U.S is actually on the lower end of the estimated death toll from the virus, but officials are worried that it could reach well beyond 200k.
