Iraqi Prime Minister to resign amid deadly anti-government protests

BAGHDAD, IRAQ — Big news in Iraq today following what was Iraq ‘s bloodiest day yet in terms of their anti-government protests. According to the government, PM Abdul Mahdi is set to resign amid weeks of anti-government protests into his corrupt government and policies.

The news comes amid the government declaring that it couldn’t handle the events of the past two months. According to the UN, at least 400 have died since October in the clashes.
