The exodus of Wal-Mart – Big Box Retailer Closing 200+ stores

It's 2016, and er, well Wal-Mart is riding off into the sunset. Wal-Mart announced that some 200+ stores across America and certain parts of the world are preparing to shutter. The announcement comes on the heels of dismal financial disclosures, perhaps, because most betroth the once beloved retail giant. About 12 of them are full fledged stores; 4 are Sam's Club, and are variously spread across the world on top of "Express Locations".  Despite reports of closures,  Wal-Mart still plans to open more stores, however, we're not quite sure how well that will mesh with others. US reportedly sues Volkswagen

And it isn't looking good for the car maker. According to documents obtained by Daily News Online, the Department of Justice has reportedly sued Volkswagen amid further claims that the company went to great lengths to evade the Clean Air Act, at least, with its diesel line of vehicles. Documents claim that the DOJ is "after Volkswagen" for allegations that they "deeply" violated the Clean Air Act, a major law that champions "Clean Air" and the reduction of emissions from vehicles in the United States. Report: Cops found ISIS flag after Jakarta attack

JAKARTA -- Days after the attacks that rocked  Jakarta, police, have come out revealing that three men have been arrested on suspicion of connections to the brazen attacks -- and --  similar connections  to terror groups like ISIS.  Cops claim that they've reportedly found an ISIS flag in nearby locations where the Jakarta attacks took place, lending, credibility to the claim that ISIS was responsible for the attacks in Jakarta almost deadly similar to Paris. The attacks took place on Thursday whereas 5 men attacked a Starbucks coffee and a police traffic booth killing 2 and injuring 20 more.    The attacks left similar sentiments to the previous attacks by similar terror groups, alike, the 2002 terror attacks that rocked a Bali bar that killed 202.

The Oscar nominations were formally announced today, however,  it appears there's some notable things missing from the list including: a single person of colour. In the list, all 20 of the actors nominated  are actually white. Among the notable absences from the list "Beast of No Nation" starring Idris Elba, who, has already won or has been nominated for numerous awards across the awards-season spectrum This, perhaps, er, is a problem considering some of the best movies of the year starred black people.  Will Smith 's football biopic, Elba's Beast of No Nation, Michael B Jordan's role in Creed, all of these great films were overlooked. ITALY -- Similar to  previous harrowing murders in Italy, circa Amanda Knox, an American woman has reportedly turned up dead in Italy. Italian officials tell Daily News Online that a 35-year-old American woman identified as Ashley Olsen was found dead in her Florence apartment Friday, after, a night on the town and a consensual romp with a Senegalese man. Harry Potter’s “Severus Snape” dead at 69

LONDON -- He's played opposite Bruce Willis; fought magicians and magical beasts in Harry Potter, but Alan Rickman, wasn't quite magical enough to withstand the natural causes of life. According to Rickman's family, "Severus Snape" has died at the age of 69. Rickman, reportedly passed away due to complications from cancer.  His career first began in 1970, but as of recent, is probably best known from being the "Evil Professor" Severus Snape in which he starred as in nearly all of the  of the Harry Potter franchise films.

Troubling news in the world of American media today, er, mostly because one of the world's most prominent Islamic news agency's has announced that it is shutting its doors in America.  After more than three years as a cable news agency in the states,  Al Jazeera, couldn't quite muster up the viewership it had hoped. According to reports, Jazeera, will shut its cable news agency and American web efforts in April which is expected to leave hundreds of prestigious journalists without a job. Per a statement from Al Jazeera "Our business model didn't quite go well with the American economy in media".
