Love Island has always been one of those shows that are largely guilty pleasures — but that guilty pleasure shouldn’t come at the price of another’s own life. In recent months, the ITV show has seen a total of 3 suicides (not one but THREE) which is quite astonishing, and now it is being reported that the fate of the show may be in jeopardy.
Last month — producers of the show were warned by advocates and such that their stars needed to be better-taken care of as mental health had long been an issue for the show itself. Previously both Sophie Gradon, 32, and Mike Thalassitis, 26, had taken their own lives after being on the show in some shape or form.
A large portion of the controversy surrounding the ITV show is with the fact that their aftercare policies are pretty troubling. According to reports,
